Bentleys Catering has been trading for ten years and we take our hygiene and food safety responsibilities very seriously as can be seen by the certificates we hold.

During normal routine inspections by Braintree District Council we have more than satisfied their requirements, currently being rated highly on their "Scores on the Doors" rating system.

We also follow Braintree District Council's and the Food Standard Agency's SFBB (Safer Food Better Business) ideals. All our staff are trained to follow these procedures, which incorporates HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) for small catering businesses.

All our equipment is tested regularly to British Standards:

  • Electrical equipment to BS7671
  • Gas appliances to Gas Safe standard
  • Fire extinguisher & blanket tested yearly
  • General risk assessment carried out at evey event
  • COSHH (Control Of Substances Hazardous to Health)

Here at Bentleys catering we are also fully insured through the Mobile and Outside Caterers Liability Scheme.
