About Bentleys Catering

Bentleys Catering has been trading since 2003 and we take our responsibilities very seriously as can be seen by the above certificates and are fully insured with Mobile and Outside Caterers Liability Scheme, copies of all are available for inspection on request.

We follow Braintree District Council's and the Food Standard Agency's SFBB (Safer Food Better Business) ideals. We train our staff to follow these procedures, which incorporates HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) for small catering businesses.

During normal routine inspections by Braintree District Council we have more than satisfied their requirements, recently being uprated from three to four stars awarded on their recently introduced "Scores on the Doors" rating system.

All our equipment is tested regularly to British Standards:

• Electrical equipment to BS7671
• Gas appliances to CORGI standard
• Fire extinguisher & blanket tested yearly
• General risk assessment carried out at evey event
• COSHH (Control Of Substances Hazardous to Health)
